To support you in effectively showcasing your accomplishments over the past year, and to help supervisors successfully manage the review process, HR is offering training sessions for both employees and managers with direct reports. Only those with direct reporting employees need to attend the manager session.

Academic Faculty are Mines faculty whose role is to lead, develop, and deliver the institution’s instruction, and produce original scholarship and research.  For more informaton, refer to section 4 in the Faculty Handbook.

University Staff are Mines employees who do not have an academic rank or title. They serve campus in positions that have been exempted from the State Personnel System.

Classified employees are part of the Colorado State Personnel System. This system is governed by Colorado Law and the Partnership Agreement, and requires that candidates for such positions reside in Colorado.
